I decided to pull a card while meditating on the inauguration tomorrow. I pulled the Seven Clubs – Mountain from my Sorcery Underground Fortune Telling Deck.
This card represents great obstacles, tests of courage, continued conflict. Needless to say, I won’t be going near any government buildings tomorrow. It’s dangerous when everyone wants to be king of the hill. The position is good if it can be held, and long term success is possible with determination. The capitol seems well prepared to handle any interference, but I wonder how the state capitols will fare.
new moon a great time for olive oil face masks and card reading
the central card for this coming lunar cycle is une prudence. Prudence, one of the four cardinal virtues, advises us to anticipate the potential results and repercussions of our actions. what Rube Goldberg chain of events are you about to set off if you say, do, text that? new information might seem to warrant an immediate response. it doesn’t. wait. as it does every day, the tide is changing. the thing about the tide is you can use it as a source of renewable energy, or you can get caught up in it and get swept out to sea. i guess you could also just sit there and watch it wash away your bungalow. the bottom of the deck card is as above. i create through my speech. try going an entire day speaking only in positive phrases and see what changes. top card is the two hearts. stupid cupid indeed. given the state of the world, if cupid aims his arrow at you, duck and cover 😂
Metaphysical: Don’t allow delays or seemingly slow progress to lead to apathy or relaxation on the matter. Stay alert. Stay focused. Stay ready. You have seen how apathy has hurt you in the past, so learn from it. If action cannot be taken now, work on getting possible actions ready to implement.
Practical: Financial hardships will lessen with new opportunities or promotions. New avenues of revenue might come from an old idea or process. What did you used to do to improve your finances?
Fortunes in shift. Watch your pocket book. Gains and losses end in equilibrium. We might feel the need to rob Peter to pay Paul, but when if we’re honest with ourselves and our checking accounts, we can pay Peter and Paul and be just fine. This will take some maneuvering and balancing on your part, but ultimately you realize you can adjust your definition of ‘need’ and make it work. Buy it next week.
This card often reminds me of the times when i say ‘im broke,’ and mean that my bills are paid, i’ve got food and gas for the week, and i have rainy-day money, i’m just not being frivolous. Many tarot decks depict this card as two coins in the loops of a lemniscate, or infinity symbol. In Marseille style decks, this is often shown as a looping banner with the name of the company that printed the cards or artist info. This concept of coins in infinity reminds us that money is such a fluid thing in the universe. Incredible wealth can be lost or gained overnight, and what we consider ‘incredible wealth’ can change in an instant. The stressful situation this card can vaticinate will come and go. Just keep the ball bouncing.
